The Office of Multicultural Affairs is here to create and help maintain a campus community where the needs of a diverse student body are addressed and where multiculturalism and diversity is embraced, celebrated and advanced.

The office is committed to:

• Providing services, resources and initiatives that assist students with a successful transition to, matriculation at and graduation from the University
• Providing opportunities for students and faculty to learn about, embrace and celebrate diverse ethnic, racial and cultural identities
• Assisting multicultural student organizations in leadership development and facilitating their active engagement and participation in the University community
• Advocating for and assisting other university constituencies in creating environments supportive of a diverse student body
• Educating the entire campus community about the unique histories, cultures and experiences of multicultural students and other diverse populations
• Preparing students to live, work, lead and succeed in a multicultural world
