Off campus property
Quinnipiac offers upper-class students a unique real world living experience. These houses are located throughout the town of Hamden. Most houses are surrounded by other Quinnipiac University students, while some are in the midst of Hamden residential neighborhoods.

Each house has a living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms. These houses typically house 3, 4 or 7 students. There are RAs who live in the neighborhoods and provide the same services as RAs on the Mount Carmel and York Hill Campuses. To see each of the available houses, stop by the Department of Residential Life.


House Features

  • Most houses are ranch or two-story frames
  • Houses between 3, 4 or 7 students
  • Offers single and double bedrooms
  • Each house has a minimum of one full bathroom; many have more than one
  • Free laundry machines located in the basements
  • Full kitchens with oven and refrigerator
  • A property management company provides work orders, landscaping and snow removal

Wireless connectivity and cable TV are available with Comcast Cable - Students are responsible for set up and payment

Transportation
Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from campus. It is recommended that students bring their own vehicle to drive to and from campus. There is a Quinnipiac University shuttle that makes stops at two locations near campus on New Road. The shuttle stops at Lucien Drive and at the corner of New Road and Ives Street.
