Greek Leadership Councils
Members of Quinnipiac’s fraternities and sororities can take a leadership role in their chapter’s ruling councils.

Interfraternity Council
The Quinnipiac Interfraternity Council promotes harmonious relations among campus fraternities and monitors national and institutional policies. The IFC is composed of two representatives from each fraternity chapter and four executive officers. As a council, the IFC facilitates the exchange of ideas and information and encourages scholastic, social, athletic and community interrelationships.

Multicultural Events Committee
The MEC plans multicultural programs at Quinnipiac—teaching about diversity and celebrating Black History, Latino Heritage and Women’s History months and more. It’s made up of university faculty, students and staff and collaborates with SHADES in planning each year’s calendar of events.

Panhellenic Association
The Quinnipiac Panhellenic Association is the governing body for the national sororities on campus, overseeing recruitment and acting as a liaison between the sororities and Quinnipiac administration. Two representatives from each sorority and four executive officers make up the QPA. Members may also serve as recruitment counselors, assisting prospective members throughout new member recruitment.

Quinnipiac University After Dark
QUAD provides late-night programming and entertainment every Friday and Saturday night from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., including psychic readings, late-night breakfast and Quinnipiac Idol contests. More...

Residence Hall Council
The Residence Hall Council consists of a group of students who work with staff members to organize activities and events to encourage a sense of community in the residence halls.

Student Diversity Board
The Student Diversity Board helps promote ongoing conversation among students, faculty and staff pertaining to issues of diversity through open forums, workshops and seminars.

Student Government Association
Elected annually, the executive officers and class representatives work together to promote student welfare by sponsoring social activities and acting as the voice of the student population. Any undergraduate student in good standing may join the SGA. More...

Student Programming Board
As part of the Student Government Association, the SPB provides a range of diverse activities that help promote campus involvement. Committees include: comedy, concerts, lectures, novelties, travel, special events, films, membership, technical and cultural. Students Helping Advocate Diversity
SHADES is a student-based committee that helps the Quinnipiac community explore diversity and related issues through events like Multicultural Mondays and an annual one-day diversity conference. SHADEs is overseen by the Office of Student Affairs and works with the Multicultural Events Committee to create a full calendar of events each year.
