Accounting Society
The Accounting Society exists to encourage professional interest and understanding in the field of accounting and to improve the educational experience at Quinnipiac. The organization will also provide a wide variety of the activities by giving students the opportunity to explore all facets of accounting.
American Marketing Association
A collegiate chapter of the American Marketing Association, the club hosts guest lecturers and sponsors trips to marketing events and conferences. Advertising and marketing majors are welcome, as well as nonmajors who want to explore these fields.
Athletic Training Club
Educational and social activities provide a fun way for future athletic trainers to build toward their careers.
Diagnostic Imaging Society
Students enrolled in the bachelor’s program of radiological sciences meet to socialize, educate fellow students on the different modalities and professional options for those in the field and raise awareness in the campus community on the benefits and hazards of the use of radiation in medicine.
Economics/Finance Club
Anyone interested in the field of business can join to enjoy various activities including a visit the New York Stock Exchange each fall. Members also enjoy networking with alumni, other professionals in the business world and guest lecturers.
Information Systems Management Club
The purpose of the Information Systems Management Club is to foster an enriched understanding and appreciation for information systems and to develop interpersonal relationships between students, faculty and businesses.
International Business Society
Students enrolled in the major and others interested in international business gather to gain an in-depth understanding of course materials and issues and to encourage professional interests and development.
Investment Club
Through investing-related activities, the club takes a real-world approach to finance and the function of the markets and investment systems.
Physical Therapy Club
The Physical Therapy Club strives to increase the Quinnipiac community’s awareness of the disabled and provide insight into the physical therapy profession through activities such as special athletics, massage clinics and voluntary services for wheelchair basketball and the Gaylord Fitness Festival.
Physician Assistant Club
Students interested in a physician assistant’s career meet to promote academic achievement and clinical excellence and to raise awareness of the physician assistant as a member of the health care delivery team.
Pre-Health Professional Society
The purpose of the Pre-Health Society is to offer general as well as specific information and support for undergraduates in Pre-Health, particularly Pre-Medical programs, in hope that members will be fully aware of the options, requirements, benefits and sacrifices of the field they intend to pursue.
Pre-Law Society
This society seeks to prepare students for the choices and challenges associated with the career field of law with information about applying to and attending law school.
Psychology Club
This club aims to stimulate professional and academic interest in the field of psychology.
Public Relations Students Society of America
PRSSA is a student-run organization whose purpose is to improve the quality of learning in the public relations field. Its members contribute to studies in public relations and also encourage their peers to join and contribute to the society’s efforts.
Quinnipiac Future Teachers Organization
Members explore a shared interest in education and explore all aspects of the teaching profession through discussion and projects. The group also promotes the Quinnipiac University five-year MAT program.
Quinnipiac University National Association of Black Journalists
This group aims to strengthen the ties among African-American journalists; promote diversity and culture in newrooms, newspapers and radio stations; and promote honor and excellence in the media industry. The organization helps students connect to individuals in the field and create networking opportunities.
Society for the Advancement of Management
Majors and others interested in managerial careers meet to interact with students, faculty and operating managers. Networking and guest lectures provide a vital link between Quinnipiac and the business world.
Society, Life & Justice Club
With the motto “Service to Society,” this club welcomes all who are interested in helping others through the fields of sociology and gerontology. Members extend learning outside the classroom through hands-on experience.
Society of Professional Journalists
Dedicated to the perpetuation of a free press as the cornerstone of our nation and our liberty, the group encourages high standards and ethical behavior in the practice of journalism, fosters excellence and encourages diversity among journalists and inspires successive generations of talented individuals to become dedicated journalists.
Student Nursing Association
Started in 1997, this association sponsors many activities on campus and within the community to promote the nursing profession. All are welcome to join.
Student Occupational Therapy Association
SOTA exposes students and the community to the different modalities, equipment and roles of the professional therapist. The group also provides support to students at all levels and engages in various fundraisers to support charities, community services and social activities.
Students in Free Enterprise
SIFE promotes the entrepreneurial spirit and an ongoing exploration of the free-enterprise system through outreach projects in the community and throughout the world. SIFE also encourages career development and cultivates future opportunities for its members.
Undergraduate Physician Assistant Club
Undergraduate students interested in a physician assistant’s career meet to promote academic achievement and clinical excellence and to raise awareness of the physician assistant as a member of the health care delivery team.
Vet Tech Club
The purpose of the Veterinary Technology Club is to create unity among the students in the veterinary technology program; to promote views of the general welfare of animals; and to make the University community aware of the importance of and proceedings in the animal health field.
