Student Testimonials

Quinnipiac University Online attracts learners of all types: traditional undergraduate and graduate students, people with families and professionals with demanding careers. We impress students with the quality of our courses and the commitment from our professors.

Armine Abrahamyan, an international student from Armenia, took online courses while pursuing a master of science in journalism. She says, “The online courses are creative and made on the highest professional level.”

Brian Buccino of Hamden, Conn., earned a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems in 2005 and continued his education through Quinnipiac University Online. He says, “I took three online graduate courses in interactive communications. The online tutorials helped me understand complex concepts.”

Brenna Hillegas Lewis of Wallingford, Conn., took online courses while pursuing a master’s in business administration and working full time. She says, “Quinnipiac University Online allows you to be an independent learner. You can teach yourself and organize things in the best way for you to understand. I did most of my work between eight and midnight."

Bridget Maybury of New York City completed the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner/Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner Program. She says, “I’m a people person, so I was reluctant about taking a course online. I questioned how everything would be interpreted and wondered if I would get the most out of it, but it’s amazing how the courses are set up. You can watch videos, download reading materials and forms and print everything out. The professors are always checking in. I really enjoyed it.”

Smith
Cynthia Smith of Stratford, Conn., completed her master's degree in organizational leadership. She says, "I had done a lot of reading about organizational leadership and the curriculum seemed to be right on target to what the business needs of today are. I've always had people reporting to me or working on projects for me, and the curriculum was very tied in to that. What I really liked was that it was a hybrid. You still have that personal connection with instructors and peers in your cohort, but you're not limited by time and space."
