This degree in biology is offered in collaboration with the School of Education and applies specifically to students who plan to teach biology in the middle school or high school settings. This five-year program allows students to simultaneously earn a BS in biology and MAT in education while preparing to be certified for teaching. The program provides students with the combination of an in-depth knowledge in biology and integrated teaching skills that will serve them in their teaching careers.
