Steps in Applying

1) Visit Us. We offer admission events as well as student-led tours. We're here year round. More...

2) File your application. You can do so online, or you can download a paper application (pdf) and send it directly to the admissions office. The application fee is $45. Starting with applicants for Fall 2008 you'll also be able to apply to Quinnipiac using the Common Application. If you choose to use the Common Application, you'll need to file the supplemental form as well. We recommend that freshmen applicants file their application early in the senior year as we review files on a 'rolling admission' basis.

3) Complete your personal statement. This one-page (minimum 250 word) essay is to be included with your application. Freshmen may wish to tell us about their interest in Quinnipiac and/or your future career plans. Transfer students should use their statement to highlight their reasons for wanting to transfer to Quinnipiac from their previous insitution. International students should tell us about their previous educational and life experience and why they are interested in Quinnipiac.

4) Request that your high school transcript be sent to us. Your school must mail it to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. We recommend seniors have their first quarter grades sent when they are available.

5) Send your official SAT I or ACT scores directly to us. Quinnipiac’s SAT code is 3712, and our ACT code is 0582. We do not require SAT IIs.

6) Provide a letter of recommendation. Please provide a minimum of one letter of recommendation from your guidance counselor (required) or a teacher (optional). You'll find forms on our 'Apply' page which you can use.

7) Explore financial aid. For the fall semester, you should file the FAFSA soon after the first of the year. The deadline is March 1. More about FAFSA…
