The graduate core and advanced practice core are taken by all master's students. Post Master's Certificate students may receive advanced placement credit. All students take appropriate specialty core in its entirety. Please see individual specialized tracks for specific additional curriculum requirements. Courses designated as a practicum are precepted clinical experiences, and have a ratio of 1 credit to 4 clinical contact or clock hours. Non-matriculated students may register for selected graduate nursing core courses with the permission of the graduate program director.
