Students studying in the Arnold Bernhard Library
Why Study OT at Quinnipiac?

In five and a half years of study, we’ll prepare you for the diverse practice of occupational therapy with a variety of learning experiences in the classroom, field and laboratory. In our fully accredited program:

You’ll work side by side with academic and clinical faculty who will help you take textbook theory and put it into real practice.

Our small class sizes allow for more direct student-professor interaction. You’ll find a faculty-to-student ratio of 1:25 in classes and 1:10 in labs. The groups are even smaller in our problem-based learning groups. And you’ll have close supervision in the Fieldwork I experience.

You’ll learn through a variety of effective teaching methods.

Our developmental-humanistic approach  is designed to cultivate learning while stimulating creative and critical reasoning to foster openness to new concepts and evolving models of practice.
