Perhaps you'd like to visit schools to talk to children about the proper ways to pack and wear a backpack to avoid injury. Maybe you'd enjoy talking to kids about the importance of wearing bicycle helmets to prevent head injury.

Join the Quinnipiac University Players and you'll use life-size puppets to educate children about issues such as disability awareness, autism, safety, bullying and school violence.

You can even team up with a four-legged "therapist" and visit senior centers and other community centers to educate older adults about the benefits of therapy animals.

However you decide to pursue your OT service learning at Quinnipiac, you'll be enriched educationally and personally.
