In the master’s program at Quinnipiac, three full-time 12-week affiliations at professional health care organizations will give you practical occupational therapy experience in a variety of settings, as well as valuable job contacts you’ll need when you graduate.

For example, our students have worked at facilities such as the Just Kids Early Childhood Learning Center, a comprehensive early intervention and preschool program for young disabled and nondisabled children.

They’ve also gone as far as Glendale, Ariz., to work at the Children’s Center for Neurodevelopmental Studies, a nonprofit school and therapy center for children with special needs.

In our community-based service learning, you’ll discover how your training as an occupational therapist can be enriched through helping others, using fun tools such as puppetry and pets.
