Bob Hancock has been a reporter and anchor at AM1220 WQUN for more than five years. He previously was assignment editor at the ABC radio network in New York and acting news director at WICC 600 Bridgeport. He also was a reporter an anchor at WSTC AM-FM Stamford and a news rerporter at WNHC New Haven. Bob has also worked as a researcher at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic. While there he assisted in a study of 18th century ethnic makeup of southwestern Connecticut shore communities. He assisted in the symposium "Ethnicity in the Martitime Industries." He contributed to the Amistad Project. He also worked at the Connecticut Department of Public Health as public information officer for the high blood pressure program in the chronic disease division and was education coordinator for the indoor air pollution program. Bob also worked at the Yale School of Medicine in New Haven as research assistant. When Bob is not working and reporting the news, his hobbies include photography, choral singing and scuba diving. | ![]() |
