Laura Caroompas Cannon joined the WQUN staff as a Saturday anchor in 2002, and has been the midday anchor and reporter since 2004.

Laura's radio career began at KNOM-AM in Nome, Alaska, and includes stops in Providence; Worcester, Mass.; Manchester, N.H.; New London, Conn.; and her home town of Binghamton, N.Y.

Laura lives in Hamden with her husband, daughter and son. She is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross. When not at WQUN, Laura can usually be found behind a book, in the choir loft or at her childrens' school.
