BMS 110 - (UC) The World of Microbes
 
(4 cr.) In this course, which is designed for non-science majors, students are introduced to the relevance of microorganisms in everyday life. Topics include: microorganisms in the environment, infectious diseases, biotechnology, foods and beverages, antibiotics and host defense mechanisms.
