EN 360 - Literature and Popular Culture (WS 360)
 
(3 cr.) This examination of the major works in a specific genre focuses on a period in, but not restricted to, American culture. Analysis of primary texts reveals themes and patterns that emphasize the relationship between literature and culture. Sample courses include Western Fiction and Film, Detective Fiction, Literature and the Environment, etc. Topics change (as do instructors), so course may be repeated for credit. Prerequisite: one course from EN level 200; Every Other Year, Spring
