SW 622 - Multicultural Practice in Communities and Organizations
 
(3 cr.) This advanced elective course is designed to provide students with an understanding of multicultural practice in organizational and community settings. The course will examine concepts and techniques of multicultural practice; will consider and evaluate relevant strategies and tactics that promote multiculturalism, including community capacity building, empowerment processes, intercultural communication, diversity training, and cross-cultural supervision, and apply them to both community organizing and community-based agency practice settings Prerequisite: SW 502, SW 503; As Needed, Fall and Spring
