LAWS 321 - Lawyers' Prof. Responsibility
 
(3 cr.) This course examines the ethical obligations of all attorneys in the practice of law. Our focus is on the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and understanding the basic requirements and conundrums that confront attorneys throughout the client representation, counseling, and advocacy process. Among other topics, we explore the duties of competence, communication, confidentiality, candor to the court, and the identification and treatment of conflicts of interest.
