27th NEURON Conference
27th NEURON Conference Sinha The 27th NEURON Conference and was held on Feb. 22, 2015, at Quinnipiac University's Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. The keynote speaker was Rajita Sinha, Foundations Fund Professor of Psychiatry, Neurobiology and Child Study Chief, Director of the Yale Stress Center, and Deputy Director of the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation. She discussed "Stress in the Brain: Molecules, Neural Circuits and Stress-Related Disorders" The conference featured two poster sessions and an awards ceremony. Watch Sinha's keynote address.

25th NEURON Conference
25th NEURON Conference poster session The 25th NEURON Conference was held on Feb. 23, 2014, at Quinnipiac University's Center for Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences. The keynote speaker was Amelia Eisch, associate professor of psychiatry at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She discussed "Adult Hippocampal Neurogenesis: What are New Neurons Good For? What is Good for New Neurons?" The conference featured a poster session and awards ceremony. 23rd NEURON Conference
23rd NEURON Conference The 23rd NEURON Conference was held on April 7, 2013, at Quinnipiac University's York Hill and Mount Carmel campuses. Marina Picciotto, the Charles Murphy Professor of Psychiatry, Neurobiology and Pharmacology at Yale University, gave the keynote address: "From Molecules to Behavior: Role of Nicotinic Acetylcholine Receptors in Nicotine Addiction, Food Intake and Depression." 22nd NEURON Conference
Margaret Haney The 22nd NEURON Conference and the 40th Hunter College Psychology Convention was held on April 1, 2012, at Hunter College in New York City. The keynote speaker was Margaret Haney, professor of clinical neurobiology, Columbia University. Her address was titled, "Marijuana Dependence: Withdrawal, Relapse and Medication Development"
21st NEURON Conference
21st NEURON Conference The 21st NEURON conference was held Nov. 6, 2011, at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. The conference was held at the Rocky Top Student Center on Quinnipiac's York Hill Campus. The keynote speaker was Cheryl McCormick, PhD, professor and Canada Research Chair in Neuroscience at Brock University in Canada. Dalores Malaspina The 20th NEURON conference was held on April 10, 2011, at the City University of New York (CUNY) Hunter College. Dolores Malaspina, Steckler Professor of Psychiatry at NYU Behavioral Health Programs, gave the keynote address, "Sex Differences: From Germ Cells to Brain Cells."
19th NEURON Conference
Tracey Shors The 19th NEURON conference was held on Nov 7, 2010, at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Conn. The conference featured a keynote speech by Tracey Shors, a professor in the psychology department and in the Center for Collaborative Neuroscience at Rutgers University.
