Matthew Maron, CPA is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Accounting at Quinnipiac University since 2015. His areas of expertise are Individual and Business Taxation. Prior to joining Quinnipiac, he taught taxation and accounting classes at the collegiate level for over 12 years. Prior to teaching, he worked as a tax manager of a Fortune 500 corporation for over 10 years.

Professor Maron is the coordinator of the Quinnipiac VITA (Volunteer income Tax Assistance) program, where students volunteer to prepare income tax returns for low-income taxpayers in the community free of charge.

He has also partnered with Quinnipiac Online in implementing adaptive learning into numerous online accounting courses.

During his tenure at Quinnipiac, Professor Maron has, on numerous occassions, been nominated for the Quinnipiac "Excellence in Teaching Award."
