Alpha Chi Omega raises more than $30,000 for domestic violence services
Oct. 23, 2012 - Quinnipiac students Michelle Maratto, left, Gabby D'Agostino and Madison Elliott, all members of the University's chapter of Alpha Chi Omega, took part in the sorority's 15th annual Frisbee Fest Oct. 7, which raised more than $30,000 for domestic violence services.

During the event, participants enjoyed a photo booth, live music and games, including "Pie and Dunk an Alpha Chi."
As a national women's organization, Alpha Chi Omega has more than 130 collegiate chapters and more than 200 alumnae chapters throughout the country. Quinnipiac's chapter, Iota Phi, received its charter in 1997. With scholarship, leadership and community service as its goals, Alpha Chi Omega works to overcome the effects of domestic violence against women.
